Mascalucia – The authentic Charm of the San Rocco Oasis

From 1919 and for about twenty years, the property was the residence of the Passionist Fathers of Mascalucia. The structure is arranged over two internal floors, although with separate entrances. The openings to the south lead to a portico that serves as a hallway connecting the different rooms. The building’s roof has been completely renovated, featuring a pavilion structure with channels and Sicilian tiles. The structural framework is made of wooden trusses, beams, and rafters. The interior fixtures are made of fine wood, and the floors are covered with Sicilian terracotta, except for the bathrooms, which are finished in porcelain stoneware.

The existing systems include: sewage, water, thermal, heating, electrical, fire safety, and irrigation. The property is surrounded by a large outdoor area of approximately 2,400 m², paved with lavic basalt and Sicilian terracotta, excluding the building (430 m²) and the portico (131 m²). This area includes an amphitheater and an asphalted rectangle.
